Last night was date night. We went to the Long Center to see a performance of Stephen Mill's Hamlet. I didn’t really feel like going, but having missed this one over a decade ago when it was first performed, I couldn’t very well not go. I’ve been waiting too long. Still, you know, been a crazy few weeks, and while I’m over Covid, I am not recovered from Covid fully yet, so it was all hard. Totally worth it though, because the show was amazing. Just amazing. Loved every minute of it and am so glad we finally got to see it!
On the way home we stopped and grabbed some P. Terry's burgers and fries, and then sat in our comfy recliners and watched an episode of Wheel of Time while we ate. Even under the current situation with grief and not so great health, an excellent date night was had!
