The street-side pecan tree is 49 inches in diameter (at my chest height) and 70 inches to the first branch. I’m guessing another 15 inches to the next branch with a very slight decrease in diameter. It’s grown a lot the last five years! My back is not at all for bending, stooping, reaching, or ladder climbing today, so estimates will have to do. I’m covering it in knitting not a suit of plate armor. The measurements don’t have to be that exact.
I don’t think I can get to the giant box of acrylic yarn without help, so further tree cozy planning may have to wait until later today.
