The husband has flashed the bios of his motherboard and replaced the microprocessor and installed the enormous radiator it requires. He has successfully booted Windows. I have procured the first two pieces of my future Linux box: the cpu and a radiator to keep it cool.
He’s been working on this all evening/night. I have been staying out of his way. Just before I called him to dinner, I heard some cussing, but I guess it all worked out. Yay!
