Today, I caught six seconds of this critter munching on leaves with my new macro lens and a few photos as well. Had there not been a strong, cold wind whipping around the porch (where the caterpillar has been hanging out for a couple days), both the video and photos might have turned out even better. My hands were shaking and cold, and I was freaking out about handling a naked iPhone (as I do every time), but I can see now that the macro lens (at least) will be very useful to me in so many ways.

I'm so glad I bought the lenses!
