As promised … to thank them for not eating my mother's small annoying dog during Xmas week … and to apologize to them for having to destroy one of their favorite napping spots in the living room … I bought the cats a cat tree. I wanted to get them a huge giant one, but a) they are REALLY expensive and b) I don't have a space to devote to anything large right now. But I saw a little one on sale, and it would fit in the spot I had planned for it, so I went ahead and brought it home. After all, a promise is a promise, and I did promise them a cat tree for Xmas!

Here are some of the many photos I took when I first brought it into the house. I'm sure there will be many more photos to come. The cats seemed pretty happy with it!

Oh, and a color-coded guide to the cats: grey = Ronin, the Destroyer, black = Princess Myu, and the little multicolored one is, of course, Toradorable.

I have some cute video too, but I want to get it onto my computer and edit all the short bits together into one decent video. I'm hoping to do that this weekend, but I am sort of in the middle of rebuilding lamps, contemplating furniture and paint chips, and generally making a mess of the house, because I've decided to start this year by finally doing something about the sad undecorated state of the living room and bedroom.
