Or else, you know, it'll be legally just like not having plates at all. But yeah, if someone is a dick on the road chances are you take their number when they have to stop at lights. If someone parks blocking your drive likewise, you take their number and make a complaint. Same with any potentially criminal situation. No number, big problem. Come to that, what about all those parking permits which are displayed in the window and specify the licence plate of the car they're for? Have the plates disappear and how do people check they're valid? So yeah. Plan which fucks everything up. Good plan.
