I’d like to clear up what appears to be a lack of knowledge I have been seeing in the comment sections of local news outlets concerning health care reform.

Comment after comment from people screaming about how if the new health care plan is so great our elected officials should be forced to get on the same program, and if any of them had been paying any attention at all, they would know the encoded into the new law there is a provision which does, in fact, require our elected officials to buy their health insurance from the same exchanges the rest of us will have the option of buying it from. Yes, it’s true. Our elected officials will, in fact, be having the same insurance options and choices as the rest of us.

So … could they shut up about stuff they obviously haven’t bothered reading about or paying attention to (or get informed by someone other than talking point spewing idiots)?
