Yes, Enough is Enough!

Representative Cantor (R-VA) has had a bullet fired at his office. Naturally, since it’s a Republican and not a Democrat, it was immediately put into the news rotation on every 24 hour news station. What really takes the cake on this is Cantor’s statement on the matter:

He also accused Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine and Rep. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland – a member of the Democratic House leadership – of “fanning the flames” of violence by using threats that have been made against Democratic members “as political weapons.”

“Legitimate threats should be treated as security issues, and they should be dealt with by the appropriate law enforcement officials,” Cantor told reporters on Capitol Hill. “It is reckless to use these incidents as media vehicles for political gain. … Enough is enough. It has to stop.”

Yes, of course. The flames of violence are being fanned by the Democrats pointing out that crazy people have been threatening them, attacking their families, and breaking windows in offices. It has nothing to do with anything else, like say … Republicans feeding the crazy people the idea that they are totally justified in feeling angry enough to do all these things. No, it’s all the Democrats fault for bringing up the fact that crazy people are acting crazy and dangerous.

I wonder what it’s like to have balls the size of some of these Republicans. How do they get their pants on?

  1. Those darned Republicans–they will set fire to Democrats’ offices and blame the Democrats for either setting the fires themselves or making the Republicans have to set the fires to purge the Democrats of the evil that misleads them.

It is such a beautiful day for the giant pursed, perfectly attired Christian busy bodies to be out and about. Good weather brings them out.

I live in Sugar Land amongst the Christians and the Republicans and if they want to be really helpful they would come mulch my beds, replant tender green plants and weed the yard. But their charity and my tolerance only go so far. Don’t fret about the yard, it will come back. When it greens up and you have to mow that will kill the weeds.

Write when you get warm, get off the kitchen floor although I must say sleeping by the oven with the four footed creatures would be a good way to improve my mood.
