Mom had her next appointment with the eye doctor today to get ready for fixing the other eye, but the news was so good, they’ve decided to wait a while! The cataract in that eye hasn’t grown at all and is still quite small (barely bothers her too), and with her glasses on she still has 20/20 vision! So … no eye surgery just yet and likely not this year, which makes us all very happy.

Also, this was the first time her eye doctor saw her online-ordered, made-in-China, glasses. They are as perfect as we determined them to be, and the eye doctor was all kinds of amazed that they only cost $40. Mom shared the web site address with her (Zenni Optical), and now she’s going to start passing it on to more of her clients to help them save money on eyeglasses too.

Next major health crisis on the horizon is Mom’s dentist appointment on Monday morning, and my dentist appointment on Wednesday afternoon.
