MSNBC was being a good source of information about the Fort Hood shootings, until Chris Matthews’ show came on. Now he and some other talking head are discussing how handguns had to be used, because they would be so much easier to smuggle onto the base.

Hey … idiots … soldiers do not have to smuggle firearms onto their base. And good luck to anyone else trying to do that.

And now they are talking about how it could either be that these soldiers were “radicalized” (turned into terrorists) or it being a criminal operation. Or, you know, there is another freaking option, you morons … battle fatigue and being f*cked completely up due to being in a war for too long and being sent back too often.

I have to turn off the TV now. I’ve heard what the Fort Hood official had to say, and other than official announcements, anything else the breathless fools on the TV have to say at this point is only a lot of ugly speculation and sensationalism. I already feel ill, and their mindless babble is only making me feel more ill.

My gods, Matthews couldn’t even be bothered to learn that Fort Hood is an ARMY base before going on the air and talking about it. Jesus H. Christ, I hate TV news.

I have to go finish the dishes I started hours ago anyway. I’m sure the water is cold by now, and I’ll have to start all over.
