I got to the end of the repeat … AGAIN.
It isn’t really all that much larger than it was the last time I got to the stopping point. In other words, it still doesn’t seem large enough. My patience with working on it has reached the point where I would almost rather poke my own eyes out with my needles than face one more repeat of the whole damn pattern … AGAIN. Therefore, now that it’s off the needles and on scrap yarn, I’m going to put it away for a few days and not think about it at all. My sanity is at stake here.
It is gorgeous though, and not a single mistake. I’m quite proud of it. I’m going to press on with more repeats. In fact, I’ve decided to go ahead and use all the yarn and make it as large as I can. That’s almost two more skeins of knitting, and who knows how many more repeats of the pattern. A few, at least.
But I need a break from the endless, endless repetition and increasingly long rows. It’s making me crazy.
