Say Different Things

Sarah Palin will be giving her first speech outside the borders of the USA at the CLSA Investor’s Forum in Hong Kong. While I can’t imagine what useful information about US foreign policy, her views on governance, healthcare, and China Mrs. Palin may have to share with CEO’s, CFO’s, and big-time investors, here’s what I found interesting:
But CLSA, an arm of French bank Credit Agricole, decided to close Palin’s session to the media after the former Alaska governor indicated that she would have to adjust her speech if reporters were present, Slone said.
“We are very pleased with her attitude towards us. Sarah could have come here and made a media circus,” he said.
“But we said to her, ‘Look, we want you to give the most information to our clients. Do you feel comfortable doing that with the press around?’
“She said, ‘If I do that with the press in the room, I will have to say different things.’”
Why would she have to say “different things” if there are journalists in the room? Closed door meetings at investor’s forums isn’t so unusual, but openly stating that your “message” will have to be “different” if the press is around feels a little odd, particularly coming from Mrs. Palin.

I totally agree with the true fact that these bailouts did nothing good for anyone. They just helped the rich get their “Bonuses” and in stack of million dollars at a time. That’s where the money went. It didn’t help the “little people” the citizens of the US keep afloat.
She should shut her mouth already and just get on In life…
