The ants in Bed Two are dead, and I’ve gotten the tomato cage out, pulled up the last tomato plant, and gotten half that bed ready for planting beans, which I think I will be doing as soon as it cools off in an hour or so.
The transplanted seedlings are doing great. All of them are getting nice new leaves and seem happy. Whether or not they will grow well enough to produce any okra, cucumbers, or squash remains to be seen, but I have confidence I’ll get something out of them.
Still a little hot to be out there for too long at one go, but it’s been nice getting dirt under my fingernails again and seeing some new things growing.
