
Last night’s dinner. I’d hoped the meatloaf would be extra-special tasty, because the ground beef I used was so fresh it had never been frozen, but it was just tasty in the usual way. Ground beef is always such a grab-bag thing anyway. Last month we got a batch that I know had sirloin in it. The flavor gave it away. This month, it’s back to normal old ground beef. Not complaining, by the way, because the ground beef we get from the farmers is way, way better than anything found at a grocery store, which always has no flavor at all to me.
Going to start chopping the veggies and stuff for the pizza soon. Really looking forward to pizza tonight!
