The insane itching has finally stopped. There’s barely any pain at all except when I put a pressure on just that toe. Yippee!

Now there’s some new sensation. The busted toe and the toe right beside it (also somewhat banged up) both feel as though there’s a bug crawling on them. I have brushed my foot with my hand and stared at my foot looking for something crawling on it at least 40 times today. It’s far less aggravating than the pain or the itching, and I suppose it is just some other manifestation of the healing process, so I guess … yippee?

I’ll be glad when all this pain, itching, and skin-crawling sensations is but a dim memory or is forgotten entirely. May I never, ever do this much damage to a toe again.
