We just finished watching two movies. Two totally awesome movies.
Eagle Eye and Wanted are definitely on the must see list, if you want to enjoy some fantastic action thriller excitement. The storie and acting aren’t bad either. In fact, I absolutely loved both movies, and I had no idea what they were going to be about when I sat down to watch them. Now I can’t wait to see them again!
Of the two, I think Wanted was the more interesting and entertaining. After I’d watched it, I found out it was based on a comic books series, which I now, of course, want to read. While a good tech-thriller with a story I don’t figure out in the first 30 minutes of the movie is fantastic, any movie involving secret societies of assassins with amazing weaponry and skills (and really awesome special effects) with a mystery I haven’t unraveled until the last 30 minutes of the movie (maybe even less) will tend to thrill me more. The fact Wanted had Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman in starring roles didn’t hurt either.
Though do be forewarned: both movies are pretty violent, but Wanted is a bloodbath. It’s about assassins. What would you expect? Just thought I would mention this fact.
Anyway, just wanted to pass that along, since they can be caught on cable right now†. They are worth renting in whatever way you usually rent movies, if you don’t get premium cable channels.
