And now for a tale of a company doing something right:
After I posted my griping about Time Warner still sucking, I visited my web site to make sure it had posted OK. There was a comment on my post about the new LB Collection Pure Wool Yarn I was dying to get my hands on but which had sold out by the time I got to the web site.
Well, the comment was from someone at Lion Brand informing me it was back in stock! How completely awesome is that?! Now that’s great customer service!
Of course, I immediately went and ordered 5 skeins, and now I can’t wait for it to get here. Yippee! I’m going to be getting some yarn in the mail! You have to know that makes me as giddy as a school girl!
Kudos to Lion Brand for not only coming out with a 100% Made in the USA woolen yarn for also for being so on the ball someone came to my silly web site to let me know more yarn is available. Bravo, Lion Brand!
Very shortly, I will be able to get on with the project I have been trying to get on with. I can’t wait to let the cat out of the bag and share it with all of you. The reception it’s received from those I have shared it with has been very positive, and I just know some of you reading this are going to totally dig it too!
Hey, I was walking through World Market today and they had alpaca (I think it was alpaca) hand dyed, un spun wool available. Thought you might be interested in that sort of thing!
World Market you say? I would have never thought to look there, but now it’s on my list for places to go meander about as soon as my toe allows driving and walking.
I used to love that store when I worked nearby and could stop in during lunch. All manner of interesting things I didn’t need but just had to have (particularly nice wines and foreign snack foods).
World Market is the only place I can find Milka chocolate which I fell deeply in love with when we lived in Germany. They also have Haribo gummies which are ten times better than the crap made here.
I just saw that when we were meandering around the store today, trying to waste time before going home. Mike wanted sake and Jim just wanted to look. I made the mental note to tell you but wouldn’t have if you didn’t make this post. So it was meant to be!
Yes, yes yes! The Haribo gummies are da bomb! Any other brand is but a pale copy.
