My Hello Kitty clock/radio/iPod dock does the trick for powering my iPod while I use it to watch stuff on the TV! Yippee!
A mere twenty minutes after I had it set up in the living room, while I was in the middle of watching podcasts, Lin called and correctly guessed I was sitting in the middle of the living room floor watching iPod stuff. He knows me well! Sometimes it’s a little annoying though to be so predictable.
Now I have my music playing through the stereo system, and that’s just the most awesome thing. I don’t have external speakers on my iMac, so when I listen to music, it isn’t like I can crank it loud enough to be heard everywhere in the house. Now I can! I bet I listen to a lot more music now.
I am in love with my iPod all over again. I had been feeling a little envious as several of my friends have recently gotten the new iPod Touch, with it’s larger screen and cool functions. I was sort of starting to think about whining about needing to upgrade. But now … I am really, really happy with mine again. It’s not like I need a new iPod. I didn’t really need this iPod either. It’s not like I ever really away from the house for long enough to require external entertainment. Now I can totally use it at home† for all kinds of things.
I love my man. For a mere $6, he has made me completely giddy … and given me an excuse to goof off even more! :lol:
