AV Nerd Madness

Lin bought be an AV cable for my iPod today. Cool! I can now watch my iPod TV shows and podcasts on the TV, as well as listen to my music through the stereo system!

Getting it hooked up to our crazy entertainment system was a bother, but we did finally find a way to make it work, and before my iPod battery said it needed charging, I got to see some of my high definition National Geographic stuff on the TV. Looked great!

Naturally, as with all this technological in this house, something has to go wrong. The remote for the sound receiver up and decided to stop working. The batteries were replaced, but still no remote control love. Hope Lin figures out what happened (my guess some random button got pushed somewhere along the way), because getting up to change the volume or input would, in fact, suck.

I’ve got the iPod charging right now, because I have a [completely legal] movie I want to watch on the TV later! EEEEEE! It’s going to be so cool!

UPDATE: Somehow, no one knows how, the infrared had been turned off on the receiver. Told you … it was the random button pushing.

Now I am really all WHEEEE about the AV cable! Maybe I will finally get caught up with watching my usual podcasts and stuff. Watching on the iPod is cool when I’m not at home, though it’s so tiny, and I don’t like sitting at the computer watching things for too long. I’ve needed one of these cables for a while now. I am soooo excited!
