I finally got a Bratz doll. It’s Yasmin, who I believe is described as a Jewish Latina. Mom saw her at her grocery store for $3 and remembered I had been wanting one forever, though she was afraid I might not like her, since it wasn’t the blond white one. Well, I didn’t want the blond white one. I wanted Yasmin! So, it all worked out perfectly.

From what I hear though, Bratz will likely be going away, since the company that makes them lost a huge lawsuit to Mattel (who will now own Bratz doll design). That means I better get her some more shoes (feet) while I still can. I especially want a pair of bare feet and maybe some flat sandals or tennis shoes … and maybe a pair of tall boots. Clothes I can (and will) make. Feet with attached shoes I can’t make, and if I don’t get a few more before they can’t be gotten, poor Yasmin will go through her entire life wearing the two pairs of purple spike heels she came with. We can’t have that!

I poked around at eBay a little, and tomorrow I have to run to the post office, which happens to be close to Target and Big Lots. I might as well look at both those places as well. I don’t want to spend a whole lot of money on it, but a few more pairs of “feet” for Yasmin would be nice.

If any of my online buddies have any Yasmin or Bratz-related things they would like to part with, speak to me! It doesn’t have to be in anything like mint, in-box condition either. I don’t collect toys. I play with them. What’s the point of being an adult and being able to get any toy you want and keeping it in the box forever? No fun in that!

Anyway, I’m giddy like a little girl about finally getting a Bratz doll. Silly, I know, but I can’t help myself. I love toys!

Maybe I will eventually get a Blythe doll too. Way more expensive than $3 though.
