I was locking up and shutting down the house in preparation for my before-bed game of solitaire, when I noticed a high amount of lightning just over the horizon. Not “Oh look, a lightning strike. Maybe we’ll get some rain.” but more like “Oh wow, look at all that lightning!!! Is there going to be an awful storm?!” sort of situation. I just checked the local weather radar, and yes, there is a huge storm headed our way. I guess I better skip the before-bed game of solitaire and go turn on the TV weather. I need to know if I should bother going to bed or not right away. Few things are worse than being awakened one hour into a nice slumber by high winds, roaring thunder, pouring rain, and the potential for hail … or worse. Yup, better go check the weather reports.

And … I knitted so much today my arms, hands, and fingers are tired and hurt. I think I’ll not be knitting much tomorrow. But I got a lot done, and I am really happy with it all, so go me! :D

Please no hail. Rain would be nice.
