Brain Worms

That weird pain in my brain? Still there. It’s been migrating around the left side of my head since I noticed it the other day. When I first noticed it, the nail-in-the-head feeling was near the top of my head. It’s now just above my left ear near the temple. Occam’s Razor would suggest, owing to the fact my nerves are stretched to their limit and I am stressed out this week, that this is merely some odd stress-related event. My inner child, on the other hand, is thoroughly convinced it’s brain worms. It’s not so much painful as simply highly annoying. The only time it really hurts is when I run my fingers through my hair, which I must do about a thousand times an hour, since my bangs are so grown out they are constantly in my eyes now.

Whatever it is, I wish it would go away.

Brain worms or not, I’ve got things to do today. One more cup of coffee, and I will officially begin getting things done. Let’s hope there are no surprises like yesterday’s giant hornets or as many annoying phone calls as I had to deal with all day yesterday. I have a bunch of stuff I need to do, and then there are some things I want to do. I never seem to get to the things I want to do lately, and that sucks! Therefore, my brain worms and I need to get the other things done as quickly as possible so we can have some fun.

Footnotes
  1. For the first time in forever, I finally decided to turn my phone off for a while in the evening. The only person I had any desire to talk to was Lin, and he was at home. Just ignoring the constant ringing wasn’t working, because it just would NOT stop ringing. Silence is golden indeed, especially when it’s a silent cell phone. []
