Check out The TikkunTree Project.
The Concept: To create a communally-produced peace tree, by suspending countless knitted (or crocheted, or embroidered) leaves, olives, and doves, from a knitted tree trunk structure. The project will also include a hand-made candle-light vigil to surround the tree.
Thank you so much for your generous support of the TikkunTree! With spring bursting about all around me, I look forward to receiving leaves and other contributions that might enable the TikkunTree to fulfill its purpose: the advancement of peace in Israel-Palestine.
