We went to go see Star Trek (and voted). I will now quote my statement made upon exiting the theater:

“I’m allowed to not like a movie, aren’t I?”

Lin liked it. I had a great deal of trouble turning off my inner Star Trek geek. It’s a fun movie. Not sad I saw it on the big screen, but yeah … I probably don’t need to see it again.

Probably more later, but I have to go call my mother. I was incommunicado for an entire two hours while we were at the movie, and naturally she thinks we’ve died or something. Ugh.
