The hot water heater is not heating water. In fact, it isn’t doing anything at all. I noticed the water wasn’t especially hot when I did the dishes earlier. Not hot at all. More like body temperature. Well, the pilot light is out and there’s no gas smell at all, so at least I won’t blow up or die at any moment. I’d try relighting the thing, but I’ll admit to not really knowing how (and being a bit of a weenie about it).

It’s ancient technology, so no surprise it may have died, but did it have to die right now? How the hell are we going to replace a hot water heater?!?!
