I haven’t made it to the store yet. The fencing contractor and his team are over at the Latin Family’s house right now with post hole diggers digging post holes. I wanted to hover and peep out the windows. I think they have the fence on the property line, if what they wanted was for it to be right ON the property line. I’m sure Lin will eyeball it when he gets home. In a few more hours, they should at least have all the posts up.
It isn’t that I don’t trust those neighbors. They are cool. No, I just don’t trust contractors and construction workers. Entirely too many of them do not have a good eye for detail … like being a few inches off on a property line. Sure, not really a big deal, until it is.
Better get to the store though. The thumping of the post hole digging is driving me insane anyway.
Oh, and Lin just called and had me measure the windows. I don’t know where he is, but he found some mini-blinds for $2 each that may fit our windows. What bothers me is that he asked if I cared what color they were, and he didn’t answer when I asked what colors they had. Not that I care TOO much, but something neutral would be nice, and I worry that any mini-blind for $2 may be some obnoxious color that no one else on the planet wants!
Eeee … they have started pounding in the fence posts. Now that noise will definitely drive me insane very shortly. It’s time to escape to the relative calm of the grocery store.
