Sasha, the Bird Killer

Sasha, the Great Hunter

Do not let the sweet and innocent face fool you. She’s the Great Grey and White Hunter, and she has a wild and aggressive attitude. The fact she let me get so close to take this photo is testament to her being fat, happy and tired after a night of killing and eating a large crow-type bird.

She’s pretty, and I like her, but the only time she’s sweet is when she hasn’t killed something recently and wants me to give her some kibble (and shortly after she’s killed and consumed something — she’s pretty sweet then too). Otherwise, she’s all spit and vinegar.

  1. We have a black cat that loves being outdoors and even though I feel like I overfeed him, He STILL kills little animals and eats them. Just the other day we found a pile of buried small bones :P He’s the sweetest cat ever but he is a serial killer! :fuzza:

  2. Sasha is a sweet cat, as long as you don’t try to pet her. Oh, she’ll allow one little head rub, if she’s in a really good mood (or really hungry), but mostly not. A real touch-me-not.
