Cute Tora Story

Mom must be at the neighbor’s having coffee, so I’ll take this time to tell you today’s cute Tora story.

At about noon, I had to come into the house to cool down and refill my water jug. It isn’t until I am putting ice into my jug that I noticed there was one small kitten sitting on top of the fridge looking at me. I looked up at her and rolled my eyes and sighed, because I have already given up trying to keep her off the top of the fridge. When I sighed, she got that “OMG! I’m doing something bad!” cat look, and started heading to the side of the fridge she egresses from (by sliding down my drafting table).

I completely ignored her and finished getting my ice and filling my jug with water … and started to head back outside. She mewed loudly –or squeaked loudly, as she really doesn’t mew yet– and when I looked at her, she had the silliest little confused look on her face. I said “Silly Tora” which really got her squeaking, and then I walked out the door. I could still hear her confused squeaking noises outside!

I have no idea if she got down right away or not. I imagine not. It seems to be her favorite place to sit and stare out the kitchen window. Well, she can have it for as long as she can get up there … or until I move the drafting table, which may happen at some point. That’s not going to make her happy, but I bet she gets too chubby to get up there so easily long before that table gets moved.
