Mundane Life

Got the peanuts to plant. They didn’t have any garden plants. Boo. Going to have to go find some this weekend. The cats need food anyway, so I guess we’ll check at our regular feed store first for tomato plants. If not, it’ll be Home Depot. Everything else is just too far out of our neighborhood to make it worth the bother for a few dollars in tomato plants.

I forgot to get Dr Pepper at the grocery store. Duh. I guess we’ll be drinking iced tea this weekend. Not a huge problem, since I like tea, but my Dr Pepper addiction will not be satiated by tea.

Instead of going to run the errands this morning, I fell asleep. Still so tired, I could fall asleep again right now. I’m so glad I made a huge pot of stew so there’s no cooking to be done tonight. I don’t think I have it in me to be that useful. Just going to two stores was almost too much for the feeble state of my brain today, as evidenced by my forgetting the Dr Pepper when it was right there in big letters on the list.

Tomorrow morning, tired or sick or not, the peanuts are getting planted, the tomato bed is getting planted with what I have to plant on hand, and those ugly plants leftover from last year finally get tossed out of their pots. Keep meaning to do that last one, but never seem to get to it.

More potatoes are popping up! So far, life is good in the garden.

I think I’ll have another little nap now.
