Rain is nice. Cold is not so nice. Guess I have to take the good with the bad. The garden is certainly loving the rain, and it doesn’t seem to be minding the chilly weather either. The okra came up today too! Lots of things sprouting!

I spent the day catching up on my recorded craft shows, reading, and napping with cats. Even though it’s been dark and dreary, it’s been a good day. While having a lazy, rainy day today was sort of nice, I know I’ll have cabin fever tomorrow, if the sun doesn’t come out. It’s supposed to be like this until Sunday. Good for the garden, but not so good for me. I’ll have to find lots of indoor stuff to keep me busy. Or I could just waste time napping with the cats. That’s always fun too.

Since the weather is foul and chilly, what better to make for dinner than a huge pot-o-chili and some cornbread. The chili already smells so good, I wish it was time to eat, but dinner is hours away. Ugh!
