Where the hell does one need to go to find raw peanuts still in the shell?! My grocery didn’t have any raw peanuts, shell or no. I stopped at a few other places that sell foodstuffs in the neighborhood, and found no raw peanut love. At all. No raw peanuts. Everything is roasted and flavored and less than peanut-like. How am I supposed to make boiled peanuts? Or plant peanuts? Who knew finding raw peanuts was going to be such a task?!

I guess I’ll have to go to one of the posh-posh “health” food stores like Wholefoods, where I will pay a premium for what is really a terribly inexpensive foodstuff. How annoying.
