If I had anything to say about today, it would be that we should be eating homegrown radishes right now, but we are not. Not sure what to blame the slow growth of the radishes on. They are growing and look healthy, they just aren’t growing as quickly as they should. I’m going to thin them out a little this weekend, leaving the largest of them, and move them to the back yard. It’s possible they aren’t getting enough sun, and I suspect the hot-cold-hot-cold weather we have had this month is somewhat to blame as well. Hard for plants to tell if it’s time to grow or not with that sort of stuff going on. Well, nothing I can do about the weather.

Tomorrow’s my birthday. No real plans. We are thinking of going out to eat somewhere, but I bet we end up staying home and having pizza and catching up on recorded TV shows, which is just fine with me. It’s going to be cold, Lin’s tired, and the cedar pollen is blowing, so leaving the house sounds like so much trouble. Yes, we are prepared to accept our old fart awards now.

Meh. That about sums up the day.
