Winter Weather Warning

Yesterday’s high temperature was 80ºF. Today’s high is 66ºF, and we are enjoying it right this minute. Expected temperature at noon? 34ºF with the possibility of sleet and freezing rain. Just peachy.

As soon as I get Lin out the door, I am off to the grocery store. We are out of cookies and snack foods, we will be out of milk later today, and if I have to eat beef, pork, or sausage one more time, I am going to jump in front of a bus.

Then I’m going to plant more radishes and cover my plants with plastic for the next two days.

So ready for this bizarre weather to settle down into either hot or cold.

Footnotes
  1. The only problem with the whole eating local thing is that we are pretty much stuck eating beef, pork, and sausage way too often. I think some shrimp and chicken is in order, even if it contains nastiness which may kill us and has been shipped from who knows where. I do have limits, and I have reached my limit of tolerance for beef, pork, and sausage. I am, in fact, even sick to death of pizza. []
