The only thing remaining to show that Buffet Palace was ever in that parking lot are the two large stone idols at the entrances to the lot … and a sign from a real estate company. It’s been almost two years since it burnt down, and I still miss the place. Additionally, I haven’t had any Asian food or sushi since the last time we ate there a week or so before the fire. I miss sushi too. :bawl:

I also miss how Lin and I would sing “It’s time for Buffet Palace! It’s time for Buffet Palace!” every time we decided to go eat there. We spent a lot of great evenings together at that place, and we haven’t found a replacement restaurant yet for lazily hanging out, stuffing our faces, and having long talks about silly things. We never really go out anymore! Waaaah!!! I miss Buffet Palace!
