It was so cold this morning, neither of us really felt like leaving the house and going to the farmers market, but we had to go. The only thing left in the freezer was two pounds of spicy ground pork sausage. Tasty? Yes. Don’t want to eat it every day for a week. Also didn’t want to buy meat at the grocery store. Therefore, into the cold we went. Here’s today’s haul.

It never looks like much, but this is a few weeks worth of food. Minus the veggies I get at the store, of course.

And what of the list of things I wanted to get done today? Ha! I was chilled when I got home, so after eating my breakfast taco, I crawled into bed “to warm up” and promptly fell asleep. I slept the rest of the day away. Oh well. There’s always tomorrow, right?
