I started a game of Civilization this morning, and before I knew it, one of my three cities had fallen to Peter the Great, there were two cats snoozing and purring in my lap, and I found I couldn’t keep my eyes open. So, I took a nap, and then I did the usual housework. Bah. Not the day of goofing off I had planned! Oh well, there’s always tomorrow. ;)

You may have noticed a preponderance of video posts today (which seem to not be loading at the moment, Utterli gets slammed this time of day). Yes, I was even too tired to type! Actually, it’s that I have discovered it isn’t that I have a problem with recordings of myself — not that I am thrilled about them — but that the process I was using to make them and get them on the internet was one hassle after another. Now that I have a method that requires little more than a couple of mouse clicks from start to finish, I’ll probably be tossing up video and audio posts more often … provided Utterli doesn’t get so busy all the time that they don’t load on my web site. I hate that!

Even with the nap, I am dragging my butt around like it weighs a million pounds. I’d planned to make chili tonight, but now I find myself uninspired to make or eat chili. Instead, I have decided we will have Chef Boy Ardee canned ravioli, steamed squash, and a salad. One thing’s for certain, I will be sleeping well tonight. I’m just hoping to keep my eyes open through the Daily Show and Colbert Report!

I’ going to go play with the cats a while, as they are well-rested after our mutual nap. I wish I gained that much energy from so little sleep! :lol:
