This morning all three cats have been involved in the usual morning Running of the Cats. No hissing. No growling. Just two cats and one kitten running around chasing each other like wild things and playing in the manner I have become accustomed to over the last two years. If I thought two cats doing that made a lot of noise, three is a herd of elephants … and they wake up earlier than I do. Wow, what a lot of noise!

But at least things seem to be working out OK. I’m so relieved.

In other news, I talked with Annoying Boy yesterday when I got home. His parents closed on their new place and have most of their stuff moved in, but he’s going to be living in that trailer over in Pat’s yard until “school is out” … whatever that means. He’s not in high school anymore, at least I don’t see how he could be. I don’t know what school he’s going to and didn’t bother to ask. I should have pressed him for more information. Does he mean until December or until summer? Either way, it’s too long for me. I really want him out of here so I never have to be pestered by him again.
