All the Insane Neighbors’ personal stuff is gone, and the packed up the dogs and two carriers worth of cats earlier today. They’ve been hanging out over at Pat’s house since then. Annoying Boy is in serious moping mood. Maybe today is the day they are gone for good? I wouldn’t know. They didn’t stop by to say bye to us, which is just as well. I’d have had to contain my excitement.
Provided they don’t come back for them, it looks like I will be acquiring two cats: the big, black monster and the new kitten. Currently, they are both lounging around in their driveway, and it certainly looks like they have been abandoned, as the food and water bowls are gone. If they are still laying there waiting and being left behind when evening comes, I’ll be going out and making friends with them. It certainly looks like they won’t be going away with the Insane Neighbors, but I don’t want to start stealing their cats until I am sure they are there for the stealing. Poor things.
I wish they would have at least knocked on the door to let us know they were going for good. It’s not like we actually had a hostile relationship. In fact, we were the only people they never had a fight with. Also, then I could officially begin celebrating and stealing cats.
