Homework

I’m super busy this morning, so I can’t spend hours trying to find what I am looking for, so … you want some homework? :)

Yesterday evening while flipping through the news channels Lin and I caught a few minutes of one of the talking heads interviewing Chuck Norris. I thought it was Fox News, but maybe not. The talking head was one of the more foaming-at-the-mouth ones – a white guy with a big, flat face and short gray hair. Not fat, but a large man. I don’t think he had on glasses. He did have very pale blue eyes. If I had to guess his age, I’d say somewhere between 45 and 50. Maybe he’s younger and has dyed his hair gray to look more respectable and older. He has a really loud voice and likes to use it to shout people down … even when he does agree with them. He seems to have a huge ego, though I suppose that goes with being on TV.

I don’t know his name because I don’t like him enough to bother. I’ve always considered him a total blowhard and not much of a journalist. He’s annoying and rude to people on his show … unless they agree with him. I normally wouldn’t bother trying to track down anything he said, but in the two minutes we watched, he said something I couldn’t believe and wanted to rant about. I should have rewound the show and written it down, but I was tired and we were looking for something entertaining and interesting to watch … not raving talking heads interviewing Chuck Norris.

I’m sure I could find what I am looking for later, if I knew who the talking head was and what network we were watching. If anyone has any idea of who it could be, would you mind posting it in the comments? Better yet, if anyone else saw Chuck Norris on the news last night and knows where there is a video of the interview, I promise to love you forever. ;)

I have got to get out of the house and run errands. Yesterday was busy. Today is more of the same.

  1. You ever see the movie, “Waitress” with Kerri Russell? Her character, and you seem to have something in common, although I can not pinpoint it. You don’t bake pies now do you?

Been watching Ike, about nine of the models include Austin. 726 miles from Austin traveling at 10 MPH = 3 days. I would think you would have more problems with rain than wind, but I live 200 miles inland when Hugo hit in 1989 with well over 125 MPH winds.

    Stay safe

  2. That’s not the one I was looking for (which I think I’ve found), but interesting too.

I don’t know why he’s on all over the place right now, but he is, and I am sick of it. He’s a nutjob.
