The day started off strange, and it’s been going that way ever since.

Several hours of off-an-on power outages? Check.

Intermittent internet access? Check.

Cable reception crappy? Check.

Far too much car and foot traffic for a normal day on our street? Check.

All the neighbors being much noisier than usual? Check.

Three new cats in the area? Check.

A weird and unidentifiable engine noise (very loud) with no known source? Check.

Another strange noise happening every 30 minutes, from a different direction than the other noise? Check.

The bank thinking we had way, way, way more money than we do in our accounts? Check.

What the hell is up with this day?! I don’t know, but I want the normal back, thank you very much.
