It’s sad that doing one small sink of dishes is my major accomplishment for the day. I’m just feeling all kinds of out of sorts today, and that weird pain by my right hip bone is still there. No better and no worse, but it’s definitely still there. Still no idea what’s causing it, but it doesn’t seem to be immediately life-threatening, so I’ll continue to ignore it as much as I can. I don’t feel sick in any way. I just feel off and unfocused and grumpy.

Speaking of grumpy, I think I’ll call UPS and gripe at them. When I went to go check the mail earlier, I found one of the really light UPS priority envelopes lying in the driveway. I don’t know if they even bothered knocking while trying to deliver it, since I did take a long shower and a nap today and wouldn’t have heard the door at those times. What I do know is that a very light envelope containing a single sheet of paper was somehow left on my porch without being weighted down at all, and it’s not like there aren’t things on my porch that could have been used to keep it from blowing away. Hell, they could have even put it under the windshield wiper of the truck, and it would have been better than doing what they did, which was apparently just lean it against the door for the wind to blow away. Thanks, UPS!

Well, Lin’s home, and it’s been decided we are having KFC for dinner tonight. Yippee! We haven’t had the discussion about who is going to go procure the food yet. I’m sure I’ll have to go, but it’s a small price to pay to not have to cook tonight. I guess I’ll go lay on the couch and watch some Olympics until dinnertime … the Olympics I said I wouldn’t be watching but which have completely sucked me in.
