83 Years

This is now the hottest summer in 83 years.
In 1925, Austin recorded 69 days of triple-digit heat. The high temperature reached 101 degree in Austin this Friday afternoon-the 44th day this summer that highs have reached or exceeded 100 degrees.
The non-stop heat and lack of rain is, in fact, downright awful. I don’t even like winter all that much, but anything is better than what we have been having. Next summer better not be like this. It really, really sucks.
