It didn’t rain today. It rained somewhere. It didn’t rain in my little corner of the world. There was a moment when I thought it was going to rain. All that happened was enough drops fell from the sky to leave a lacy pattern on spots in the dirt patina on my truck. How very exciting.

It is cooler though. I suppose that is some small consolation, even though it won’t last. The temperatures are expected to be back at 100º the day after tomorrow.

I don’t think it’s possible for me to express how disappointed I am about not getting any rain. They say maybe tomorrow, but I hold out absolutely no hope there will be anything rain-like in my day tomorrow.

The only notable thing about today was the lack of rain and the fact it took me two and a half hours to get my grocery shopping done.

I’m going to bed. Wake me if it rains.
