The fingerless mitts were finished by the time I started the laundry, so I got them washed tonight. I am very, very pleased with the way they turned out!

I’m also pleased with the texture of the yarn^† after washing. It softened up a lot, and for a rather cheap acrylic yarn, it’s really not so bad. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s enough in one skein to make two pairs of mitts. Tomorrow I’ll weight everything to be sure, but eyeballing what’s left of the skein, it looks a little too light. Darn.

Still … I am very, very pleased with the way they turned out, and it was a fun weekend knitting project.
