I cannot win against the damn aphids! I am out there every day, spraying all the leaves top and bottom. Waiting a few hours for the multitudes to turn dark and die, and then washing all the leaves off with a strong misting spray of water. Still, every day I go out there in the morning, and there is an all new multitude waiting to be killed and washed away.

My cucumber plants look like crap, thanks to the damn aphids.

Also, no matter all the tomato plants have been blooming like crazy, and I have been thwapping the flowers and shaking the stems to get them to pollinate, which they do see to be doing, the tomatoes, such as they are, refuse to grow large than, well, a large seed.

But I do believe I may have some peppers in a few weeks … maybe.

I am definitely not having fun with the gardening right now, which sucks since that’s 50% of my reason for doing it. I am once again considering not being so organic and natural about my gardening. Poisons would make my life easier by far. I just hate the idea of killing everything in my little garden though. But still … how many hours a day am I expected to devote to killing and removing aphids for what looks like maybe ten cucumbers?!

I don’t know if I ever want to bother trying to grow anything ever again. I am getting disgusted.
