So Bored | Just Orb

I did some work on my web site. I visited all my usual internet haunts. I ate lunch. I watered my plants. I talked to my mom on the phone. Twice. And now, with Lin still at work, I am finding myself bored.

I’d work on some artwork, but I don’t feel like it, and it doesn’t do any good to force it.

I’d take a nap, but I am so well-rested this weekend, I doubt I could even fall asleep right now.

I’d go outside, but it’s just too damn hot. There’s nothing to do out there anyway.

I’d go read a book, as I finally worked through the stack of books to read, but I don’t feel like reading something I have read before. No money to get anything new, so no new reading material.

So … Orb is bored. Orb doesn’t like being bored.

I think I’ll go wake up the cats and make their lives miserable for a while. They don’t need to sleep all day and keep us awake all night anyway, right?

Well here is something to bring a smile to your face. While I was going through my computer today, rearranging my music folders, I found an old video clip (dated July 7 2004), of a charming young lady singing, “Bilbo Baggins”. I imagine you remember when you recorded this little diddy, but do you know why you selected this particular song? :)

Actually, I don’t remember recording it. In fact, I don’t think I even have a copy of it anywhere. Want to share? :D

I can tell you why that song though! It’s such s silly, happy, goofy song, and Leonard Nimoy once recorded it and listening to it never fails to make me laugh out loud.

NP Orb, it is your property and I always thought it be funny as hell for you one day to play this for your nieces, nephews, children or grandchildren, neighbors kids, etc. Now all you have to do is tell me where to send it and it will be on its way. I checked it for any viruses and it is virus free.

When my old computer started having regular heart attacks, I lost a whole bunch of stuff. Once a file gets lost, I completely forget about it. It’s going to be so funny to see it! :lol:
