I didn’t think the humidity could get any worse than yesterday, but it did. I just got back from a trip to Walgreens to pick up some hair dye, and as soon as I stepped out on the porch, I wilted. Supposedly there’s a 60% chance of thunderstorms today, and it sure feels like it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like it. There’s not a cloud in the sky.

But at least it’s been cooler the last few days, even though it’s been muggy as hell out there. Maybe, just maybe some of the many, many flowers on all my tomato plants will decide to become tomatoes. I’ve been out there several times a day thwacking them lightly with my fingers to help with the pollination, and I am keeping my fingers crossed. If only half the flowers turn into ugly tomatoes, I’d be pleased.

Anyway, I now have a box of black hair dye and a box of red hair dye, and I scrubbed my hair down this morning. I would imagine sometime in the next 24 hours, I will do something crazy with my hair. I’m not sure what yet, but I want to do something … something crazy.
