I spent hours moving a sprinkler around to get all the corners of the yard wet, and Mother Nature decides to go ahead and bring on some rain, just as I was finishing up. I had to run out in the rain to turn off the sprinkler. It came on that quickly. It’s still drizzling a little too. The front yard must be thrilled.

Also, we watched No Country For Old Men tonight. Lin and I both were left wondering how it managed to win the Academy Award for Best Motion Picture. I can only guess the rest of the nominees were real stinkers. Let’s just say I am not inspired to watch any of the other nominees for Best Motion Picture, because the winner was such a boring movie. No, really … it was boring. It also felt pointless. Boring and pointless.

I did enjoy Tommy Lee Jones’ performance, but then I always do. He’s on my personal list of sexiest men alive.

Time to go fold the laundry, and then off to bed.
