Good Morning!

I am having a grand morning so far! I didn’t sleep at all last night, because, well … creating creatures in Spore is very addictive. To make up for the lack of sleep, I did some good, strenuous yoga before Lin got up. I recently added a couple of more advanced poses to my routine. They are tough to hold for long, but I get better at it every time I do them. Also, they feel so good!

As soon as I get Lin off to work, I’ll be spending some time out in the yard. It’s watering day, so I definitely want to water the front lawn. It’s starting to look brown. There’s probably no hope for it staying green at all, but I want to try this year. And there are some new flowers on my tomato plants that need attention, so I’ll be out there shaking them and spraying my plants down with Epsom’s salt and water again. I also need to add some fresh composted manure to all the pots and do a thorough check for bugs. Something ate a few leaves off one of the plants, but I couldn’t find whatever did it. It looked like the work of another hornworm. Bastards!

If I have any strength left after I get that stuff done, I want to do the few dishes from dinner last night and vacuum the rugs. That’s really the only housework to do. I don’t know how, but I have seemingly been keeping up with the housework better than I did in the past. That’s strange, seeing as I have been having horrible problems sleeping lately, and I don’t feel like I am ever getting anything done. All the same, there isn’t anything much to do. Weird. Maybe I’m doing the housework in my sleep.

I’d like to stay awake all day today and finally roll my sleep schedule completely over to something resembling normal. I almost succeeded the other night, but I stupidly took a nap later in the day yesterday, and that screwed it all up again. Well, that and Spore. Did I mention creating creatures in Spore is addictive?

Oh, and the Insane Neighbors didn’t take Annoying Boy with them. I saw him last night. It seems like his brother, who as far as I can tell is not insane at all, is staying over there most nights. Maybe he’s been keeping the punk in line. I’m not sure what the story is with the brother. All I know is he was or is in the military in some way, he doesn’t come around much unless they are out of town, and the few times I have talked to him he seemed very, very normal. I guess that might explain why he doesn’t come around that house much. If those people were my family members, I’d try not to see them too often too.

Lin’s getting dressed, so it must be time for me to get his things together and get him out the door. Then I’ll be getting all my work done so I can drink a bunch of coffee and stay awake all day making creatures.

I can’t believe it’s already Thursday. Where did the week go?!
