Well, I just sneezed for the first time since Tuesday, a miracle in itself, and even though I did it just as instructed — open mouth and let all that air blast out of my mouth and not my bone-splinter-containing sinus, I had to take a pain pill all the same. Sure, my nose doesn’t hurt, but my jaw tightened up when I sneezed, and now … just … OW.

It’s not like a person really has too much control over sneezing. I did the best I could. No damage, I am sure, but my jaw wasn’t happy about it at all. And to think, I was just going to make a post telling everyone how much better I was feeling than I have been feeling in a really, really long time. OK, that’s still mostly true, I am feeling better in general, but now I’ve had to drug myself again, and it was so nice not being on those mind-numbing pills.

Dammit.

In better news, my wonderful husband went to the store today, without being asked, and bought me all sorts of wonderful foods I can eat that aren’t all sweet and pudding-like. Tonight, I am going to have a nice thick organic tomato soup for dinner and caramel flan for dessert! Provided I can move my jaw enough to get that in. Really … OW! Hope I don’t have to sneeze again. That really sucked!
